SHSS Faculty and Students Publish Article in the Journal of Marital & Family Therapy

Several faculty and doctoral students of the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) authored an article in the Jan. 2010 issue of the Journal of Marital & Family Therapy, entitled “Fostering Solutions: Bringing Brief-Therapy Principles and Practices to the Child Welfare System.” The faculty were Douglas Flemons, Ph.D. and James Hibel, Ph.D., Arlene Brett Gordon, Ph.D., Director of the Brief Therapy Institute (BTI) at SHSS, and doctoral students Michele Liscio, M.S., Annette Guitierrez-Hersh, M.S., and Cynthia Rebholz, M.S. Flemons is also the Director of NSU Student Counseling.
