The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) will host the 7th Annual Common Ground Film Festival from Feb. 12-25. The festival features five evenings of thought-provoking films selected by the Search for Common Ground and followed by facilitated discussion lead by faculty. The event, which is free and open to the public, is in partnership with the Miami International Film Festival. The films will be shown at 6 p.m. in the Knight Auditorium in the DeSantis Building on main campus.

Feb. 15- Talk Mogadishua, discussion facilitated by Elena Bastidas, Ph.D.
Feb. 19- Can You hear Me, discussion facilitated by Alexia Georgakopoulos, Ph.D.
Feb. 22- New Year Baby, discussion facilitated by Jason Campbell, Ph.D.
Feb. 25- In the Tall Grass, discussion facilitated by Judith McKay, J.D., Ph.D.
