Ron Chenail, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) authored “Forward: Becoming competent with competencies or what I have learned about learning,” in the book, Mastering Competencies in Family Therapy: A Practical Approach to Theory and Clinical Case Documentation (pp. xix-xxi), written by D. Gehart and published by Cengage Learning.
Chenail also teaches in the new Graduate Certificate in Qualitative Research in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in SHSS. The Graduate Certificate in Qualitative Research consists of eight three-credit hour online courses (24 credit hours) designed to prepare academics, professional research consultants, and graduate students to understand a variety of qualitative research approaches and to conduct qualitative research studies.
